Sarah Richardson Brogdon died Feb 4, 2006 at her home in Columbia. Mrs. Brogdon was born in Pinewood, a daughter of Richard Charles and Margaret Sullivan Richardson. Mrs. Brogdon was a member of Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter and was a graduate of the Tuomey Hospital School of Nursing. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gerald "Peggy" Burton and Jean Brogdon McKenzie both of Columbia. five grandchildren, including Trey Ambrose of Beaufort; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Leon Brogdon formerly of Sumter; three sisters and two brothers.
