Albert Lee Saunders passed away peacefully May 28, in Stephenville Texas. He was preceded by brothers, Fritz, Bub, Charles, Edgar and sister, Ruth. He is survived by brother, Danny in Placerville, Calif.; his wife, Lorraine in Stephenville; daughter, Amy in Seattle; sons, Bary in Phoenix; and Kyle in Ogden, Utah. Lee and Lorraine have four grandchildren, Lindsay, Benjamin, Andrea and Audrey.

Lee was born Nov. 6, 1929, in Green Bay Wis., to Fred and Martha Saunders. His father was a boat builder. Lee's early career included Larson's Canning and Fort Howard Paper in Green Bay. For six years Lee and his family lived in Missouri working for Fort Howard in St. Louis and then Atkins Chemical Company in Columbia before moving to Manitowoc, Wis., in 1975, where he bought and ran Huchthausen Industrial Supply Co. until his retirement. Lee was a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Manitowoc and was the president of the Kiwanis club for a time.

In retirement, Lee and Lorraine traveled all over the country for several years in their motorhome before settling in Stephenville.
