Maude Marie Rice worked as a Secretary at the Missouri State Government Building by the Capitol in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Hartford "Gilly" Gilmore came by train to Jefferson City after his Army Service in World War II.
"Gilly" Gilmore was an extremely accomplished Clarinet player. He played with a band at the famous Rathskeller Bar in the basement of the Hotel Governor in Jefferson City, Missouri. Douglas Rice, Sr. remembers seeing him play there in the 1960's. He played there in a band for many years.
I remember seeing "Gilly" with his Clarinet at their home.
