Douglas R. Parsons, age 50, of 6536 N. Borgwardt, Valders, passed on Thursday July 20, 2006. He was born on December 29, 1955 in Appleton, WI son of Donald Parsons and the late Eunice (Totzke) Parsons. He married Pamela Sperber on May 2, 1981 in Fond du Lac. Douglas graduated from Chilton High School in 1974 and was the owner and operator of Parsons Wisconsin Timber Products. He enjoyed boating, skiing, fishing, reading, and loved whittling. Survivors include his wife Pam; 3 children: Forrest Donald Parsons, Chelsea Gene Parsons, Celeste Robyn Parsons; 1 brother: Gary (Mary) Parsons; 3 sisters: Lynn (Keith) Kavajecz, Lori (John) Popp, Mary (Mark) Romanack; 2 sisters-in-law: Linda (Dave) Shymanski, Sharon (Randy) Reimann; a brother-in-law: Rob (Julie) Sperber; his father & mother-in-law: Eugene & Jeannette Sperber; and his little companion: ""Tink"". Doug is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his sister Cindy Jo; a sister-in-law: Mary Ella Sperber; and a brother-in-law: Eugene Sperber Jr. Funeral Services will be at 3:00PM on Sunday July 23, 2006 at Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Burial will be in Rothman Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday July 23, 2006. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Douglas R. Parsons.
