Scott E. Stramel, 44, of Hastings, NE., passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 by Prosser, Nebraska as a result of a motorcycle accident. Scott was born December 10, 1967 in Hastings, Nebraska to James E. & Barbara (Latzel) Stramel.
Scott graduated from Hastings High School in 1987. Scott married Lisa M. Burnham on December 10, 1993 in Hastings, Nebraska. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Smitty's Electric.
Scott was preceded in death by: father, James Stramel; grandparents; and brother-in-law, Scott Burnham.

Scott Stramel, 44, of Hastings, died late Thursday in a motorcycle crash on a rural Adams County road. Stramel was riding south on the 40D Link at about 10 p.m. when he lost control of his 1973 Harley Davidson, the patrol said. Stramel was thrown from the bike, the patrol said.
