SWEEBE CHILD IS VICTIM OF AUTO
Eight-Years-Old Son of Sanford Man Struck and Instantly Killed
Stuart Dale 8-years-old son of Ray "Dick" Sweebe of Sanford was killed instantly Tuesday noon near his Brown City home, where he was run down by an automoblie. The lad makes his home with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Wilkie, and was returning from school at lunch tim when he was struck by a car driven by another student of the same school, a sixteen year old girl. It was believed the boy suffered a broken neck.
Mr. Sweebe was called from his gas station business at Sanford and was accompanied to Brown City by Midland relative, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Sweebe who live just south of town, his sisters and brothers, who are local residents,
In addition to his father, stepmother, and his grandparents, the child is survived by a step-sister Fochay, 16, also of Brown City.
The funeral service and burial will be Friday afternoon, at Brown City, and several of the Midland relative are planning to attend.
