Rudolph Schori
Elmwood, May 21—Rudolph Schori, 76, died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Galesburg, where he was taken three days before. The body was taken to the Patterson funeral home, where friends may call until the time of services, which will be held at the funeral home at 2 p. m. Saturday, with burial in the Elmwood cemetery.
Rudolph Schori was born in Peoria, Jan 15, 1865. He was married to Miss Bertha Wheeler on Elmwood and they were the parents of five children: Margaret S., Mable, Russell L., John W., and Ward K. Schori.
Surviving is his wife Bertha, of Galesburg, and the following children: Mrs. Margaret S. Duffy, Joliet, Ill.; Mrs. Mable Betz, Latvia, Sweden; Russell R. Schori, Galesburg; John W., Bellevue, Washington; Ward K., of Tiskilwa; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also one brother, Elbert Schori of Peoria.
Mr. Schori has followed the trade as a barber since boyhood and his life was spent in Elmwood until two years when health failed and he went to live with his son Russell in Galesburg.
