Born Sept. 25, 1889, at Mt. Zion, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.J. Perkins, she moved to Lewiston with her family in 1903 and attended public schools here. She graduated from the University of Idaho, after which she taught economics at Lapwai High School.
She married Irs S. Dole at Lewiston June 12, 1913.
She was a member of the Pythian Sisters and was outstanding in Russian relief and the American Red Cross activites during World War II.
Survivos include her husband, two daughters, Dorothy Seymour, Seattle; Mrs. Virginia Bennett, Los ANgeles; two sons, Robert S. and Phillip Dole of Lewiston; her mother, Mrs. L.J. Perkins, Lewiston; three brothers, Dr. John N. Perkins, Portland; Paul E. and Ralph W. Perkins, Lewiston; three grandchildren, Paul and Ann Seymour, Seattle; and Goeffrey Bennett, Los Angeles.
