Mary Nell Upshaw, 73 passed away May 5, 2007.
Mary was born in Memphis to Cecil and Elizabeth Cain. She was a 1951 graduate of Tech High School and a graduate of Sea Isle Vocational Technical School where she received her Licensed Practical Nurse Degree. Mary worked for Dr. Richard Garrett for 23 years.
She was a member of Germantown Baptist Church and Bill Hylander's Sunday School Class.
Mary is survived by her husband Harvey Upshaw; children, Janine McCarver Johnson, Steve and Debbie Upshaw, Dawn and Richard Hickey; grandchildren, Lindsay McCarver, Daniel McCarver, Tristan Hickey, Ashton Hickey; great-grandchildren, Mason McCarver and Alex McCarver; siblings, Dot May, Jeanette Pounders, Catherine McCarley, Westelle Sweeney, Billie McCallum, Cecile Cain, Bobby Cain and Curtis Cain.
Mary was preceded in death by her brother Erban Cain and her granddaughter Bethany McCarver.
