Passed away on Friday, November 30, 2001 at Rendon's APC Home in Caro. She was 91. She was born on July 30, 1910 in Fargo, MI
The former Eleanor Pohl married Luther Dill, and he preceded her in death in 1917. She then married Almon Adams and he preceded her in death in May of 1985. She was raised by her grandparents.
Eleanor only weighed one pound at birth and was placed in a shoe box. She enjoyed bingo, hunting, fishing and square dancing. She was a member of Kedron Chapter #33 O.E.S. and the Thumb Area CoB. Club; as well as a former member of the Caro Moose Lodge and Eagles Club. Eleanor had been attending Lighthouse Baptist Church in Caro.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Thompson of Arvada Colorado, Larry and Linda Dill of Craig, Colorado, Karen Damm of st. Helen, Gary and Gail Damm of Caro, Terri Damm of Arvada, Colorado, Mary and Rick Lake of Caro, Geri Damm of Colorado; nine great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Syms of Clifford; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Calvin, in July of 1978.
Funeral service was held at Collon Funeral Home of Caro on Wednesday, December 5 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Michael Wester officiating. Burial was in Ellington Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church of Caro.
