Gay Nell Alvey age 84, of Grove Center, KY died 10/27/2017 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. She was known for her invitation to come over for her pot of beans, served with cornbread. The Sunday dinner table was loaded with fried chicken & dressed bananas. She had a tender place for misfit cats & flowers that needed TLC; & most often a book that needed its pages read. She raised great kids & grandkids by threaten a "week of dishes" if you broke the rules. You'll probably find her sitting in swing talking to Jesus as they sip on a glass of sweet tea. Come on up the view is grand! Dinner is waiting- "Good Night".
