ETHEL G. FRIEDER
(1914 - 2012)
Ethel G. Frieder, age 98, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, died Monday evening, June 25, 2012 at the Center.
She was born on May 9, 1914 in Brillion, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Barth) Fritsch. Ethel was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. She married Ralph Schaetzke and he preceded her in death in 1945. She then married George Frieder and he preceded her in death in 2004. Ethel was employed as a nurse for many years for Dr. Hoffman.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Brian & Patricia Frieder, Los Ranchos, New Mexico; two grandchildren: Garrick Frieder, Springfield, MO, Braden Frieder, Moorehead, KY; a great grandson: Ryan Fouroughi; and a sister: Vivian Endries, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Ethel will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 until 10:45 a.m.
