Barthel Rites Saturday

Graveside services for Harold Barthel will be held at Maplewood cemetery Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock by the Ball-McColm American Legion post here.

Funeral services for Mr. Barthel, who died Wednesday at Park Rapids, Minn., at the age of 50, will be held in Topeka Saturday at 1:30 o'clock. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Barthel, former Emporians. Mr. Barthel is survived by his wife and a daughter, Mrs. John J. Hayes, both of Topeka, and a brother, John, of Washington, D.C.
