Nellie Catherine Ellis, 67, died Feb 10, 1994 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a native of Lee County and a longtime resident of Beldon. She was a retired Seamstress at Hunter-Sadler Mfg. and a member of Center Hill Baptist Church.
Services were held in the Jefferson Street Chapel of the W.E. Peagues Funeral Directors with the Rev Bobby White and Rev Thil Wood officiating. Burial in the Martintown Cemetery west of New Albany.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Hankins of Plantersville and Jane Floyd of Guntown; three sisters, Billie Bridges and Blanche Armstrong both of Tupelo and Lanie Baker of New Albany; one brother, David Ray Williams of the Ingomar Community; eight grandchildren and 15 great granchildren.
Pallbearers will be Victor Armstrong, Rick Bridges, Ronald Baker, Danny Williams, Terry Williams and Robby Hankins.
Preceded in death by her parents, David Quitman Williams and Edna Catherine Corder Williams; two brothers, Esque Williams and Bill Jack Williams.
