Gladys E. Conrad 87 of Logan passed away May 27, 2012 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home surrounded by her family.

She was born October 15, 1924 in Draffin, Ky, daughter of the late John and Polly Senters Meadows. Gladys was the widow of the late Robert Conrad who died in 1970.

Gladys was a cook for many years working at the Log Cabin Restaurant, Knotty Pine, Colonial Inn, Hocking Hills Dining Lodge, Shake Shoppe, and the Old Dutch restaurants.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, shopping, bird watching, and spending time with her large family.

Gladys is survived by her sons Frank (Sue) Conrad, Tom (Marsha) Conrad, John (Linda) Conrad, Ed (Regina) Conrad, and Tony (Brenda) Conrad, daughters Anna (Robert) Mees and Cathy (Larry) Donaldson, 30 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren, brothers George and Jack Meadows, sisters Kate Mathias and Betty Cottrill and a son in law Brian Griffith.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Bonnie Dwyer Griffith, brothers Fred, Frank, and James Meadows, and a sister Goldie Klinger.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday in the Hocking Hills Church of Christ 28290 Chieftain Dr. Logan, Ohio with Kelly Zirkle officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery
