Mr. William Walton “Bill” Cocke, 60, a resident of First Ave. in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee died Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Cocke will be conducted, Friday, July 23, 2004, at 2:00 p .m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Elmer Crosby officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late William Fred and Goldie Jane Boshears Cocke. He was a graduate of the Hay Long High School of Mt. Pleasant and a member of the Allensville Baptist Church.
He was the dearest precious twin brother of Linda (Bob) Creech of St. Ann, MO and is also survived by a nephew, Barry (Tiffiny) Creech of St. Ann, MO; a great-niece, Brittany Creech of St. Ann, MO; a great-nephew, Dylan Creech of St. Ann, MO; special aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Jones; six special cousins, Steve Jones, Janice Jones and Gary Knowles, all of Mt. Pleasant, Glenn Jones of Mt. Joy Community, Sandra Knowles Burns of Columbia, Teri Knowles Nolen of Summertown; special friends, Robert West, Wanda and Jerry Fly, Stanley Rogers, Alan Arnold, Linda Sue Jones and Richard Powers.
He was preceded in death by two special cousins, Edwin Knowles and C. Wayne Boshers.
Pallbearers will be Steve Jones, Robert West, Gary Knowles, Glenn Jones, Bob Creech and Barry Creech. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Allensville Baptist Church.
