Lee R. Bond, 69, Bonner Springs, KS, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2000, at his home. Memorial services will be graveside at 10 a.m. Monday, September 18, at Bonner Springs Cemetery. Friends may call 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Alden-Harrington Chapel, Bonner Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Action of Wyandotte County.

Mr. Bond was born September 10, 1931, in Kansas City, KS. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and had worked for 40 years for Feld Chevrolet in Kansas City, KS. He retired as a service consultant for Jay Woolf Chevrolet after 10 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Bond, and a brother, Edward Bond. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Juanita Bond, of the home; daughter, Robin & husband Mark Hernandez of Bonner Springs; two grandsons, Bill Arnold Jr. and Steven Arnold, both of Bonner Springs; one great-granddaughter, Stephanie Lee Arnold of Edwardsville, KS; his mother, Stella Bond of Bonner Springs; brother, Bill & wife Mary Ellen Bond of Gardner, KS; two sisters, Maxine & husband Jim Ballard of North Carolina, and Viola & husband Gerald Bradbury of Edwardsville, KS.
