MCCLURE - George W. Eudy, 70, died May 12, 2008, at his home.
He was born May 10, 1938, in Reynoldsville, to Earl Eugene and Viola (Wareing) Eudy.
George married Vivian (Twente) in Reynoldsville on May 31, 1959.
George owned and operated Eudy Wheel Alignment in Cape Girardeau for 30 years. He was a member of East Cape Baptist Church. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian of McClure; two sons, Jay Eudy and Shaun Eudy, both of McClure; six sisters, Ermadell Elkins of Anna, Bonnie Pickle of Jonesboro, Shirley Miller of McClure, Naomi Clark of Caledonia, Mich., Flodean Hinkle of Jonesboro and Peggy St. Cin of Anna; and two sister-in-laws, Ollie Eudy of Anna and Pat Eudy of Camp Verde, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leon Eudy and Ernest "Bus" Eudy.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008, in the chapel of Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Dean West and the Rev. Matthew Butrum officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Interment will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
