Milton Elisha Lewis, 77, of Grants Pass, died Monday (June 14, 1999) in Grants Pass. No service is planned.
He was born Nov. 8, 1921, in Dallas Texas.
In September 1950, in Las Vegas, he married Alice Elizabeth Root, who died in 1996. He moved to the Rogue Valley 27 years ago from California.
Mr. Lewis completed four years of college and worked as an electrical engineer.
He was a first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force in 1940.
Survivors include two sons, Ritchie M., Carmel, Calif., Thomas M., Los Angeles; a daughter; Sharon Liguori, Carson City, Nev.; a sister, Nadine Ballard, Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
