Robert F. Pinder, Jr., resident of Half Moon Bay, age 82, Major, Armor, U.S. Army, Retired, died May 26, 2011 at Veteran's Administration Palo Alto Health Care System. He was a native of Miami, Florida and had lived in San Mateo County since 1967 and in Half Moon Bay since 1969. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Nancy; daughters Catherine Pinder of Folsom, CA; Nancy Leary of Spring, TX, son Robert of Novato, CA, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Charles Pinder. Private services were conducted under the direction of Dutra-Miller Coastside Funeral Home, Half Moon Bay. The family requests no flowers or contributions.
