Paul J. Crawford, 57, of Sawyer, passed away June 10, 2012 at his home. He was born March 13, 1955 in Bakersfield, California, the son of J.R. and Lettie Cora Pace Crawford. A Painter, Paul had lived in this area most of his life. He attended the Oak Hill Assembly of God Church and enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, preaching, gardening, camping, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Paul loved life. He and Paula Crawford were united in marriage on February 14, 1999 in the Herndon Community.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl Smith, James Smith, and Howard Smith; sisters, Mildred Carter and Daisy Prickett.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Paula of the home; son, Jason Paul Crawford of Muskogee; daughter Kandyce June Silkwood and husband Mike of Henryetta; stepson, Darin Ledbetter and wife Breanna of Broken Bow; stepdaughter, Tracy Ledbetter Kelly of Caddo; brother, Steven Smith of Broken Bow; mother-in-law, Lorene Harris also of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Breanica, Gracie, Bubba, Logan, Katelynn, Sara, Jade, Addison, Bradley, Hannah, Hailey, Blythe and Seth and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 4 to 6 pm at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 2pm at the Oak Hill Assembly of God Church with Pastor Neil Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Creek Cemetery under the direction of Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home of Broken Bow.
