CENTRALIA—Mrs. Ella Rogers, daughter of A. W. Slater, died of consumption last Friday evening, aged 26 years. The funeral was held at the Congregational church Sunday, with an overflowing house, by the very many who wished to pay their respects to one who had been so long and favorably known. Ella was a native of Orange county, N. Y. but had lived in Kansas 24 years, and thus was really one of the old settlers. She buried her husband only last year with the same fell disease, and thus the two little girls are double orphaned, but had a welcome home with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Slater.
