Funeral services for Bill Smith Sr., 82, of Cullman will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, at St. John's Evangelical Protestant Church, the Revs. Bob Kurtz and Dudley Brock officiating, with interment in Cullman City Cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Smith died Tuesday, June 12, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1930, in Cullman to Carl and Idell Burnett Smith. He was the owner of Bill Smith Buick/GMC car dealership.

Survivors include a daughter, Cheri (George) Blankenship; a son, Bill (Mary) Smith II; five grandchildren, Willi Smith, Madison Smith, Matt (Dana) Blankenship, Hillary Blankenship and Misty Thornton; and three great-grandchildren, Sinclair Robinson, Lilyann Robinson and Owen Thornton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
