In 1880 Federal Census, he lived in Lincoln, Wayne County, West Virginia with his parents and the following siblings: David C (b 1857), James H (b 1859), Nancy E (b 1859), William F (b 1860), Lucy E (b 1863), Mary A (b 1865), Frances (b 1873) and Prudence (b 1873) and John M (b 1874). John M and Frances Derifield Wisehart are buried near him.
