Mrs. L. Z. Hunter Passed Away

Mrs. Eliza Gambill Hunter, wife of L. Z. hunter of Marion Route 3, passed away at 1:05 o'clock Tuesday, December 21st at the family home after complications.

She was a native of Williamson County, was born July 11, 1872, to W. A. and Emmiline Leigh Gambill and was 65 years, 5 months and 10 days of age at the time of her passing. She grew up and was educated in the country's schools and on March 18, 1894, was united in marriage to L. Z. hunter, who with their one son, Lee Hunter, survive.

The parents, two brothers and three sisters have preceded her in death, but three brothers survive, James A., H. C., and G. W. Gambbill all of West Frankfort and a foster brother, Orange Hundley, an orphan who has always resided with them.

Mrs. Hunter was a faithful and devoted member of the First Baptist Church and funeral services will be held there Thursday at 11 o'clock with the pastor, Dr. George L. Johnson officiating. Interment will be made in the Odd Fellows cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Hudgens Funeral Home until the hour of the rites
