Mrs. Ballard was born in Washburn, Maine, on Mar. 6, 1904, to George A. and Laura A. Churchill Russell. She was married (23 June 1921) to the late Seth O. Ballard [1896-1969].
A resident of Curry for 13 years, Mrs. Ballard was a member of the Pentacostal Church.
Surviving are a son, Russell of St. Charles, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Bonnell of Grahamsville and Mrs. Glonola Currey of Curry; three sisters, Mrs. Herman Carman, Caribou, Maine; Mrs. Martin Bradley, Courtland, Maine; and Mrs. Donald Gregg, Worcester, Mass.; two brothers, Allan Russell of Washburn, Maine and Freeman Russell of Augusta, Maine; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Donald Walter will officiate at services. Burial will be in Grahamsville Rural Cemetery.
