Florence was born June 1, 1913, in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Pfeffer Doolan. She attended school in Manitowoc, and graduated from Lincoln High School. Florence worked for the Wisconsin Telephone Company for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include one broher and sister-in-law, John and Joan Doolan, Manitowoc, three nephews and two nieces, Phillip (Elaine) Fisher, suring, David Fischer, Manitowoc; Tom Doolan, Manitowoc; Mary(Bill) Meier, Manitowoc, Peggy (Jeff) Seidl, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends also survive. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother-in-law, Helen Doolan and Margaret (Howard) Fischer. The Rev. Gerald Foley will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
