Richard L. "Dutch" Moeller, 55, died June 8, 2012 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born December 11, 1956 in Hutchinson, the son of George and Neta Cook Moeller. He was a graduate of Nickerson High School. A Hutchinson resident all of his life, he was an outdoorsman. He served on the Reno County Sherriff's Department as a reserve officer. He married Jeannie Pemberton on October 8, 2004 in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Neta, South Hutchinson, 2 stepsons, Shaun Gable, Hutchinson and Keith Gable, Wichita, a brother, Rick Moeller and wife Becky, Pretty Prairie, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson, with Reverend Doug Wyatt presiding. Burial will follow at the Partridge Cemetery, with Pastor Jeanine Rishel presiding. Visitation will be held from 9AM to 9PM Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Reno County, in care of the funeral home.
