Isaiah served at a very age in the Civil War, enlisting in the same area as several of his brothers and settled in Iowa, close to where several of his brothers also settled after the war.
Isaiah married Julia Ann Stevenson, they had 8 children:
Twin daughters - Emma and Katie LIghtfoot born on September 17, 1876 in Brownsville, Missouri.
Emma married Jacob Lightfoot and she died on October 12, 1953 in Newton, Jasper, IA.
Katie married Earnest Willard Ballard, she died on October 1, 1966.
Frank Lightfoot - July 29, 1882 - April 5, 1962. He married Alma Mozelle McVay.
John Bryon Lightfoot - November 8, 1883 - Oct 24, 1944.
Pearl Lightfoot - March 24, 1885 - December 3, 1964. She married Charles Vinson Bateham and a Mr. Leonard.
Edna Lightfoot - She born on April 18, 1887 and married a Mr. Jack.
Lulu Faye Lightfoot - December 1, 1890 - December 2, 1976. She married Robert Scolds Smith.
Bessie Lightfoot - October 11, 1892- 1965. She married Walter Davis.
