He died Nov. 20, 1898 in Worcester, MA. at age 31.

Survived by her husband Fred G. Mason; a son Joseph L. Kenney; 3 sisters, Mrs. Minnie Barry, Mrs. Nora Graham and Annie J., wife of John J. Foley.
