Resident of Rodeo, CA Alwildia Mary Taylor, 87, passed away May 27, 2012, with her family by her side. A memorial service will be held at noon on June 16, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3110 Avis Way, Pinole, CA, 94564. Alwildia was born on May 11, 1925 in Roebling, NJ. She moved to Rodeo, CA in 1947 where she raised her sons, Curtis and Mark, with her late husband Frank Eattock. Besides remaining deeply devoted to her family and friends, she also showed her love for music and her church through serving as pianist, organist and choir director for many years. She also had a passion for studying her family heritage that included several patriotic names. Wilda was preceded in death by her husband, George Taylor, Sr. and step-daughter Jacqueline. She is survived by her sons, her step-children Sandra and George Jr., her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
