Grace J. Lloyd, 85, Beatrice, died Wednesday, March 17, 1993, at her home. She was born Dec. 2, 1907, at Pickrell and graduated from Beatrice High School. She married Jess Lloyd on May 17, 1927, in Beatrice. She was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church, Beatrice. She enjoyed collecting antiques, especially dishes.
Survivors: son. Dale B. Lloyd and wife Marilyn of Lincoln; daughter, Norma Pedersen and husband Charles of Filley; four grandsons, Jeff Towle and wife Patty of Fort Pierce, Fla., Bruce Lloyd and wife Christie, Randall S. Towle and Russell Lloyd and wife Cynthia, all of Lincoln; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Emma Inman, Delia Rector and Dorothy Gunther, all of Beatrice; brothers, Harm Jurgens and wife Betty of Wymore, Frank Jurgens and wife Beverly of Beatrice, and Ivan Jurgens and wife Aileen of Anacortis, Wash. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff, on March 6, 1978; parents, Frank and Henrietta Jurgens; five sisters and two brothers.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 22, Harman Mortuary Chapel, Beatrice, the Rev. Richard Fruehling officiating. Burial: Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice. Family prayer service: 10:15 Monday, family room of Harman Mortuary. Visitation at Harman Mortuary from 6 p.m. Friday until 9 p.m. on Saturday and from noon on Sunday until time of service. Memorial established to Hospice with Harman Mortuary in charge.
