Mrs. Etta S. Hubbard died Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna A. Nuttall, in Evanston, from an illness of diabetes which extended over a period of years. The body will arrive in Rockford Saturday afternoon at 2:10 on the Northwestern road, and services will immediately follow at the First Baptist Church. Interment will be made in the West Side cemetery.

Mrs. Hubbard was born in Rockford Dec. 30, 1854, the first daughter and third child of Charles and Amanda Russell. She was married to Edmund H. Hubbard Nov. 9, 1880, and spent the most of her life in Rockford. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church for 40 years, or until three years ago, when she moved to Evanston.

She is survived by her husband and three children, Mrs. Alice Camp, now in India; Mrs. Edna A. Nuttall, and Guy R. Hubbard of Evanston; also four brothers and five sisters. Mrs. C. W. Scoggins, of Indianapolis; Fred Russell of Chicago; Mrs. Olive Millard, Mrs. Florence Calvert, Hiram Russell, Mrs. Alice Miller, Paul Russell, Mrs. Clara Calvert and Frank Russell.
