Mrs. Snodgrass Dies in Canton. Word was received in Mannington today of the death of Mrs. Mary Anna Snodgrass, 59 widow of John E. Snodgrass, who died at Canton, Ohio in the home of her family after a brief illness. The body will be brought to the Huey and Jones Funeral home in Mannington and services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the home. Mrs. Snodgrass is a daughter of Mrs. Margaret Wright and the late Jefferson Wright and was born June 24, 1884 near Earnshaw, WV. In 1904 she married John Snodgrass, who died five years ago. To that union were born 12 children. Six of who survive. They are Everett, Mrs. George Raber, Mrs. Katherine Hostutler, John S., Clark, Paul Snodgrass, Nine grandchildren are also living and her mother residing at Wadestown. A member of the Church of Christ for many years Mrs. Snodgrass descended from a well known pioneer family in Wetzel County and Mannington District. Other surviving near relatives include three brothers and five sisters. They are Clark, Audger Wright of Wadestown, Ray Wright of Reader, Mrs. Amanda Snodgrass, Mrs. John Criss, Mrs. Lillian Wright, Mrs. Harland Fluharty and Mrs. Verna Toothman. Burial will be made following the services directed by the Rev. H. R. Harbour of Logansport in the Mannington Memorial Park.
