On June 4, 1931, she was united in marriage to Alex Abbott, who preceded her in death on December 28, 1958. At an early age she united with the Piney Grove No. 2 Baptist Church. She later moved her membership to the Slate Branch Baptist Church where it remained at the time of her death.
She is survived by five brothers; Neal Johnson, Naomi, Henry Johnson, Cundiff, John Johnson, West Somerset, Robert and Tom Johnson, both of Nancy; two sisters; Mrs. Arizona Vaughn, Somerset, and Mrs. Myrtle Vaughn, Farmer City, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Piney Grove No. 2 Baptist Church with the Rev. Warren Carroll officiating. Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery.
