Charles "Fred" Andrie, 87, of 1026 Mill Circle, Apt. 75, died Wednesday at 6:15 a.m. at Canterbury Villa.
A life resident of the Alliance area, Mr. Andrie was born to Charles and Elsie (Nidy) Andrie on June 17, 1911, in Atwater.
He married Pearl M. Reed on Dec. 28, 1972, and was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church. He retired as an inspector at the former Crane Company in Alliance where he had worked for 22 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Inez Grate and Eldis Andrie; and a brother, Eldon Andrie.
