Miss M.A. Elkins Dies of Consumption.
Miss M.A. Elkins, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Alexander Pratt, in King George, Tuesday, after an illness of several years, with consumption, aged 47 years. She was a Christian woman much beloved by a large circle of relatives and friends, and had been a member of Fletcher's Chapel since her girlhood.
She is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Pratt of King George; Mrs. W.H. Rollins, of Stafford; and Mrs. J.A. Maddox, of Fauquler, and two brothers J.B. Elkins and Nathaniel Elkins, of Washington. Funeral services will bs held at Fletcher's Chapel Thursday at 1 p.m., and conducted by Rev. C.K. Hobday. Internment will be made in the Chapel burying ground by the side of her brother, C.B. Elkins. (Fredericksburg)
