December 8, 1910
MRS. JANE VAN HORN.
Mrs. Jane Van Horn, widow of William Van Horn, died suddenly of heart failure, at her home in Mason last Wednesday evening. She had not enjoyed the best of health for several months but her conditon recently was such as to cause no great anxiety to her family, and her sudden passing away was a great shock to all.
Funeral services were held in the Mason Presbyterian church Friday morning. Interment in Stewarts' cemetery [aka Union Cemetery]. The husband and a son and daughter preceded her to the Great Beyond, one son, Lennis, surviving her. She was a highly respected woman and deserved the many kind favors shown her by her friends and neighbors during her illness the past year.
