Fisher will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church in Claremont, with the Rev. Martin Krause officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Claremont.Mr. Fisher, 64, of Claremont, formerly of Owatonna, died of complications of asthma Saturday (Dec. 16, 2000) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.Born Dec. 23, 1935, in Towner, N.D., he moved to Sheldon, Iowa, with his family as a young child and graduated from Sheldon High School. He worked for the Sheldon Mail Newspaper and after moving to Owatonna in 1966 worked in theprinting business until his retirement due to ill health. He h ad lived in Claremont since 1987. Mr. Fisher enjoyed small engine repair, fishing and participating in garden-tractor pulls.Survivors include his wife, Minnie; a stepdaughter, Peggy Berry of Owatonna; and two stepsons, Roy Gasner of Blooming Prairie and Curtis Louks of Rochester. Four brothers preceded him in death.Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church.
