She was born in Elko, NV., and was a U.S. Army Field Nurse during WW I on the battlefields of Europe. After the war, she married my Uncle "Jim" Trivelli/Buckskin, who also served in WW I, and lived for many years in Palisade, NV. She was always busy keeping her home clean and tidy, and was a wonderful hostess...Palisade was a very small town at that time, and neighbors stood together helping each other when it was needed.
I was a very young girl at the time, but remember her fondly - my "Aunt June" - always gracious and caring, and very intelligent...always stepping in where she was needed to do what she could.
