Raymond (Ray) J. Wilda Sr., 68, of 3327 W. Charter Oak Rd., Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Sat. afternoon in Phoenix. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday in Laemmrich (sic) Funeral Home,
312 Milwaukee St., Menasha, and 11 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha. The Rev. Norman Fontaine will officiate and burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Maple Grove.

Mr. Wilda was born July 13, 1910, in Manitowoc. He was employed as a custodian for 14 years, for St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc, and for seven years he was a maintenance man for the city. Mr. Wilda lived in Manitowoc most of his life until moving to Phoenix six years ago. Survivors include his wife, Monica Novotny of Phoenix; three sons, Wayne of Menasha, Michael and Raymond (Ray J.) Jr. of Phoenix, a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Louann) Delgado of Phoenix; two brothers, Ervin and Kenneth of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Victoria Erickson of Manitowoc; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Louis, and a sister, Mrs. Reuben Auman.

Friends may call in the funeral home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. and a memorial is being established.
