Mrs. Caroline Dupras, 61, of 1024-A S. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. Alfred Pritzy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Dupras, the former Caroline A. Schmidt, was born Oct. 12, 1903, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late August and Anna Ploeckelman Schmidt. She as a lifelong resident of Manitowoc and Aug. 24, 1925, was married to Julius J. Dupras at Waukegan, Ill. She was a member of Eagles Aerie No. 706 Auxiliary of Manitowoc.

Surviving are two sons, Edward, in the U.S. Navy, stationed in California and Robert, of Manitowoc, a daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Delores) Spaeth, of Manitowoc; a sister, Miss Helen Schmidt, of Manitowoc; a brother, Carl Schmidt of Manitowoc, and six grandchildren. A sister and a brother preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where at 7 p.m., the Eagles Auxiliary will conduct memorial services and at 8:15 p.m. the Rosary will be recited by Knights of Columbus Council No. 710.
