As per the W.V. Certificate of Death, at the time of Joseph's death he apprently was living with his wife at 1670 Roxalana Road, Dunbar, Kanawha Co., W.V. Death was from "cardio vascular renal and pulmonary failure, complicated by congestive heart failure--asthmatic bronchitis and emphysema.' His occupation at the time of his death is listed as 'miner' in the coal industry; Theo had served in the U.S. Army from 1919-1926.

NOTE: most all of the above information was garnered from Joseph's Certificate of Death, but this researchers records DO NOT 'marry-up the same' with much of the data listed therein. This could be because the "informant"--who gave the information apparently was a non-family member, who is unknown to this researcher. In addition, Joseph had evidently married a second time, to a Ms. Violet (Townsend) Stickels, also unknown to this researcher. So this bio will remain a "work in progress" for awhile longer...
