Can't read the words above but it says something David Jay.

Tombstone reads death year as 1875. This makes her birth year consistent with year of birth discussed in father's Revolutionary Pension documents.

The words at the top of her tombstone are "eldest dau. of / DAVID JAY."

Per the D.A.R. genealogy database, her parents were David and Mary (Ryder) Jay. Her father was born in NY in 1752 and served there during the Revolution as a Pvt. in the Continental Line in Tryon County. After the war, he moved to Farmington Township in Tioga County, PA where he died 06 Mar 1833.

She was named in the death records of at least three of her children as C/Katharine Leisenring, which suggests she had been previously wed prior to marrying Robert Casbeer.
