Mary Cochran Greenstreet Age 93, born in New Albany, Mississippi, to Charles Harwood and Agnes Raines October 26, 1918. Predeceased by husbands Hiram Dee Cochran, M.D. (1975) and John Ogden Greenstreet (2005). Survived by sons, Hiram Jr. (Mary Elizabeth), Charles (Deborah), and Christopher (Mary) Cochran, and grandchildren, Sean and Lindsay Cochran. Mary was a gracious homemaker and hostess who was active in Tucson's coming of age in the 1950's and '60's. She was a handsome woman, smart and insightful, with talent and skills beyond her station. She worked in early local theater, many charitable organizations, Junior League, and St. Mark's Presbyterian Church. She rose to the highest office to be held by a woman at that time within the national organization of the Presbyterian Church. Mary was a good woman, who looked after people all her life. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Marks Presbyterian Church located at 3809 E. 3rd St. on Monday the 19th at 2:00pm with a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Deacon's Fund at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church or TMC Hospice Care.
