Gerald Wayne Boyd, age 75, of Crossett, AR passed away on June 5, 2012 at his residence. He was born on February 19, 1937 in Wilmar, AR to his parents, Clarence Almo and Clara May Rawls Boyd. Mr. Boyd had served in the Air Force. He was a truck driver. He enjoyed being outdoors, boating, fishing and cooking for the family at holidays on the Saline River. Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents and a younger brother.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine Boyd of Crossett, AR; two sons, Dommie Boyd of Flippin, AR, Jerry Boyd of Las Vegas, NV; three daughters, Debbie Boyd, Francine Boyd, Sherry Boyd, all of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Darlene Boyd Novak of Monticello, AR and five grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Montrose Cemetery with Bro. Donnie DuBose officiating.
