Alfred William DeWolf

Alfred William DeWolf, 84, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., died on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010.

He was born on Feb. 8, 1926, in Broadview, Ill., to the late John and Verna DeWolf Albright.

Before moving to Hot Springs Village in 1993, he lived in Schaumburg, Ill., where he worked as a maintenance machinist for Standayne Company.

Mr. DeWolf served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a PFC from 1944 to 1946.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marcy DeWolf; two daughters: Debbie DeWolf and Diane Marzec; two grandsons: Eric Marzec and Michael Marzec; one nephew: Craig and his wife Sandi Lukes of Hot Springs Village; and many more nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters: Marie Jones and Marguerite Courtney.

Mr. DeWolf enjoyed Village golf and was also on a bowling league.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Village Animal Shelter or a charity of your choice.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at CedarVale Funeral Home Chapel.

Arrangements were under the direction of CedarVale Funeral Home of Hot Springs Village.
