Miner's leg fractured when caught under car: Attempting to jump from the mine car he was riding at the Ingram branch Mine. Andrew Aliff, 43, received a compound fracture of the lower leg Wednesday evening, when the wheels of the car passed over his legs. The trip or cable which holds the car had broken and he was attempting to jump free. He is in 'good' condition at Laird Memorial Hospital at Montgomery.
