Daughter of Amaziah D B Chamberlain and Chastina Aldrich Chamberlain. Twin sister of Eliza J. Chamberlain (died in infancy). Wife of George D. Emmons. One child listed on 1900 Census, Jennie M. Emmons.

Mrs. Elizabeth Emmons

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Emmons, 82, were held this afternoon from West Jersey Methodist church with interment in the cemetery there. Rev. A. H. Dickerson was in charge of the service.

Elizabeth Emmons, daughter of A. B. D. and Chastina Aldrich Chamberlain, was born March 15, 1863, in West Jersey township and passed away at 10:30 Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Beamer, in West Jersey at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 10 days.

She was married March 5, 1880, to George Emmons. To this union one daughter was born, Mrs. J. H. Beamer, with whom Mrs. Emmons had made her home for some time. Mr. Emmons passed away December 22, 1914.

Besides the daughter, she is survived by one brother, Frank Chamberlain of Toulon; a granddaughter, Mrs. Eleanor Clark, of Columbus, Indiana; one grandson, Philip Beamer of Milwaukee, and four great-grandchildren, Robert and Wanda Clark, John and Robert Beamer, and many nieces and nephews.
A sister, Mrs. Rose Swank, and brothers, Amaziah, William, Sylvester, Harry, Edgar and Jerome Chamberlain, preceded her in death.

She was born on the farm where Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Newman reside and most of her life was spent in West Jersey township. She joined the West Jersey Methodist church when she was 15 years old, was an active member of the Ladies Aid Society and of West Jersey Rebekah lodge of which she was a charter member.
