Marian J. Bayless, 73 years of age of Deerfield, passed away Friday March 6, 2009 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. Mrs. Bayless was born in Strongsville, Ohio on December 4, 1935 the daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn (Cotton) Timms. Marian grew up on the Timms family farm in Shalersville and was a graduate of the Crestwood School System. For many years, she was employed by the Crestwood School System as a school bus driver, training both past and present bus drivers about on board driving and safety methods. Later in her life she moved to the Washington, D,C. area where she was employed by the United States Defense Logistics Administration for 15 years as the Administrator of World Wide fuel purchasing for all branches of the military, retiring in 2005. On April 6, 1996 she married Donald Lee Bayless, Sr. and in 2001 they moved to the Deerfield area, where they enjoyed their Maltese and Yorkie "Little One's". Marian was a member of the Lake Milton Red Hats and the New Milford Freewill Baptist Church. Marian will long be remembered for her spoken word and expressing her opinion, but mostly for her beautiful smile, love of animals and her love of Nicole and Adam and the deep understanding of those she met in her life long journey on earth. She is survived by her children Dale Tyjeski and Kimberly Ann Tyjeski both of Mantua and Laura (Michael) Hagy of Canton, her grand­children Nicole and Adam, her brothers Edward (Peggy) Timms of Rootstown and Kenneth (Ruth Ann) Timms of Gadson, Alabama and her 4-legged children Lady and Maggie who have stayed by her bedside. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lee Bayless, Sr. on September 20, 2006 and her son Donald E. Tyjeski. Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2009 from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where funeral services will be Saturday, March 14, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Charlie Stacy officiating. Final resting place for Marian will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville Township
